Victoria Park Run An acrylic landscape painting on board size 38 x 28 cms. It shows everyday park life in Victoria park, Belfast. Set against the backdrop of the Harland and Wolff cranes and the old boating lake. The park is popular with runners and families and is now used for International running events. I wanted to paint this photograph because of the sunlight breaking through the trees and the strong shadows falling on the ground.
Harland Roofs An acrylic painting on board size 41 x 28 . The scene shows how the Harland and Wolff cranes dominate the Belfast skyline. In the painting you can see one crane, the green roof of the local Glentoran football club and the Roofs of the terraced houses that sprung up during the height of the shipyard's history. I like the fact that the picture shows different generations of people, some maybe around that time.
Crane by the Lake An acrylic painting on board size 30 x 40 cms. This is a view of one of Harland and Wolff cranes set against the old boating lake in Victoria Park, Belfast. The painting shows the crane reflected in the water of the lake surrounded by the wildlife and foliage of this beautiful park.

The painting shows a normally blank wall with 3 murals of famous things associated with Belfast, The Crown bar, The Lion sculpture from C S Lewis's The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe and the Big Fish Sculpture at Donegall Quay.
